Bekasi - The Bekasi City Government is still suspending activities for Hari Bebas Kendaraan Bermotor (HBKB) or Car Free Day (CFD) this week, on Sunday (29/3/2026). This is in accordance with the announcement in the Mayor of Bekasi’s circular, Number 600.4.3.2/867/DLH.TLPKLH regarding the Temporary Suspension of the Car Free Day (CFD) Implementation in Bekasi City. This step is part of the traffic management strategy ahead of the Eid al-Fitr 2026 homecoming and return flows. For drivers heading from Kranji towards Ahmad Yani Road this Sunday, they can pass normally as there are no road diversions. The post mentions that Bekasi’s Car Free Day is suspended on Sunday, 29 March 2026, or H+7 of Eid al-Fitr 2026. This is done to support the smooth flow of the return traffic to keep it safe and orderly. As information, the peak of the Eid al-Fitr 2026 homecoming flow is predicted to occur in two waves, namely on 14-15 March 2026 and 18-19 March 2026. Meanwhile, the peak of the Eid al-Fitr 2026 return flow is estimated to take place on 24-25 March 2026, with the second wave on 28-29 March 2026.
