Cessna plane missing in RP
MANILA (AFP): A Cessna 207 plane with four people on board was
reported missing Friday while plying between two towns in the
northern Philippines.
Owned by an air taxi company Chemtrad, the plane, with one
pilot and three female passengers, was on its way from Tuguegarao
to Palanan, Air Transportation Office (ATO) chief Rolando Luna
said.
Aviation officials sounded an alert when the flight, which
usually takes about 35 minutes, did not reach its destination
after leaving Tuguegarao at 10.50 a.m. (0250 GMT).
The ATO has dispatched a rescue team to search the route of
the plane.
