CEO and President Commissioner of AUTO Resign
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The automotive sector issuer, PT Astra Otoparts Tbk (AUTO), has announced the resignations of President Director Hamdani Dzulkarnaen Salim and President Commissioner Gidion Hasan. Citing a disclosure to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), the company received resignation letters from both top executives on 18 March 2026. “We hereby disclose that the company has received resignation letters from Mr Hamdani Dzulkarnaen Salim as President Director and Mr Gidion Hasan as President Commissioner, both dated 18 March 2026,” the management stated on Wednesday (25/3/2026). For information, Hamdani Dzulkarnaen Salim was appointed as the company’s President Director in 2013. Currently, he also serves as, among others, Chairman of the Indonesian Automotive Parts and Components Industry Association (GIAMM), Director of PT Astra International Tbk, Chairman of the Astra Foundation Board - Astra Bina Ilmu Polman Foundation (YABI), President Commissioner of PT Aisin Indonesia, PT AT Indonesia, PT Denso Indonesia, PT GS Battery, PT Aisin Indonesia Automotive, and PT Akebono Brake Astra Indonesia. Previously, he served as Vice President Director of PT Astra Otoparts Tbk (April-October 2013), Director of PT Astra Honda Motor (2008-2013), and Director of PT FSCM Manufacturing Indonesia (2002-2004). Meanwhile, Gidion Hasan was appointed as President Commissioner based on the company’s Annual General Meeting decision on 11 April 2019 for the first period. He also serves as President Commissioner of PT Gaya Motor, PT Tjahja Sakti Motor, PT Astra Autoprima, PT Fuji Technica Indonesia, PT Inti Pantja Press Industri, PT Pulogadung Pawitra Laksana, PT Astra Multi Trucks Indonesia, PT UD Astra Motor Indonesia, and PT Isuzu Astra Motor Indonesia. In addition, he serves as Vice President Commissioner of PT United Tractors Tbk, Vice President Commissioner of PT Astra Daihatsu Motor, Commissioner of PT Astra Sedaya Finance, Supervisory Board of Astra One Pension Fund, Supervisory Board of Astra Two Pension Fund, and Director of PT Astra International Tbk.
