The Central Sulawesi Provincial Government is tightening surveillance on livestock traffic to prevent the spread of Foot-and-Mouth Disease ahead of Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah. The Head of Animal Health and Veterinary Public Health, Dandy Alfita, stated that this step is being taken through oversight of distribution up to livestock vaccination.
