Central Sulawesi Investment Agency Affirms OSS Application Security, Pursues Licence Revocation for PT BTIIG
PALU — The Online Single Submission (OSS) application is a business licensing platform managed by the OSS Agency under the Ministry of Investment/BKPM, and is safe to use and not easily compromised.
This was stated by the Head of the Central Sulawesi Provincial Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Agency (DPMPTSP), Moh Rifani Pakamundi, to members of the media at his office on Wednesday morning (14/5/2025).
"God willing, the OSS account application is safe to use. Through OSS, it cannot actually be falsified because everything uses accounts — not just anyone can access it. I approve using my account. That is why technical recommendations from nearly all technical agencies go through accounts," said Moh Rifani Pakamundi.
"Previously, there was an incident where a technical recommendation from the Water Resources Agency was forged, but that was because it did not use an OSS account — it went through the SRIKANDI application, which is easily compromised. It should go through an account controlled by only one person. God willing, the OSS account is secure," he added.
Regarding the application to revoke the PB-UMKU water resource utilisation permit held by PT Baoshuo Taman Industry Investment Group (BTIIG), an application was submitted on Friday (9/5/2025) to the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM.
The application was made directly to the Ministry because the OSS-RBA supervisory account under the Control Division does not yet have a licence revocation menu available on OSS-RBA.
"We therefore needed to submit a revocation application to the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM, to be followed up based on the Technical Recommendation from the Central Sulawesi Water Resources Agency. The OSS supervisory account for the control division does not yet have a revocation menu available. Since OSS is under the Ministry, we are processing the revocation through the Ministry," explained Moh Rifani Pakamundi.
"We are currently still awaiting the Ministry's response to the revocation application," he concluded.
