Central Sulawesi Health Office Increases Vigilance Against Hantavirus Spread

ANTARA - The Central Sulawesi Provincial Health Office is increasing vigilance against the potential spread of Hantavirus following the issuance of a circular by the Republic of Indonesia Ministry of Health on 10 May 2026. The Chair of the Surveillance and Immunisation Working Team of the Central Sulawesi Health Office in Palu on Monday (11/5) stated that the efforts being undertaken involve controlling rodent vectors and conducting strict monitoring at border checkpoints between Central Sulawesi and the provinces of Gorontalo and North Sulawesi.
