The Central Sulawesi Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) held a plenary session for the handover of the Audit Result Report (LHP) from the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK RI) regarding the Central Sulawesi Regional Government Financial Report (LKPD) for the 2025 Fiscal Year. The meeting took place in the Main Session Room of the Central Sulawesi DPRD on Tuesday (2/6).

The First Deputy Speaker of the Central Sulawesi DPRD, Arnila HM Ali, presided over the meeting, which was attended by members of the DPRD, regional apparatus organisations (OPD), and the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda).

During the session, the Expert Staff for Central Government Finance of the BPK RI, Ahmad Adib Susilo, presented the Audit Result Report to the Governor of Central Sulawesi, Anwar Hafid, and the First Deputy Speaker of the Central Sulawesi DPRD, Arnila HM Ali.

Ahmad Adib explained that the BPK conducts audits to provide an opinion on the fairness of local government financial reports. The audit is guided by four main aspects: compliance with government accounting standards, adequacy of disclosure, compliance with laws and regulations, and the effectiveness of internal control systems.

Based on the audit results, the BPK RI awarded an Unqualified Opinion (Wajar Tanpa Pengecualian - WTP) to the Central Sulawesi Provincial Government for the 2025 Fiscal Year Financial Report. This achievement signifies Central Sulawesi’s success in maintaining the WTP opinion for 13 consecutive years.

Expressing his gratitude for the achievement, the Governor of Central Sulawesi, Anwar Hafid, appreciated the regional government officials for maintaining good and responsible financial governance.

“I am very happy with Central Sulawesi’s achievement in maintaining the WTP for 13 times. This was also a personal surprise for me as it is the first year of my administration,” he stated. He noted that maintaining the WTP opinion demonstrates the local government’s consistency in managing finances transparently and accountably.

Anwar assessed that this achievement is significant for the sustainability of local government governance, as Central Sulawesi was able to maintain high standards of financial management despite various challenges, including efficiency policies. The plenary session served as a momentum to strengthen synergy between the DPRD and the Central Sulawesi Government, with both institutions committing to further improving the quality of regional financial management in accordance with statutory regulations.
