Central Posyandu Development Team Boosts Service Quality in North Aceh
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The General Chairperson of the Central Posyandu Development Team, Tri Tito Karnavian, carried out a working visit to North Aceh Regency to improve the quality of services in the region.
Quoted from a statement by the Posyandu Development Team received in Jakarta on Friday, the visit was also in commemoration of National Posyandu Day 2026, themed “Transformation of Posyandu with 6 Minimum Service Standards (SPM): Bringing Services Closer, Improving Community Quality of Life”.
During the visit, the Chairperson of the Posyandu Development Team, accompanied by the Acting General Secretary of the Central Posyandu Development Team, Safriati Safrizal, inspected three activity locations. The visit took place from 27-30 April 2026.
The first location was at Huntara Village of Tanjong Dalam Selatan, Langkahan Subdistrict, reaching 298 family heads (KK) of refugees and disaster-affected communities. The aid distributed included food packages, worship and kitchen equipment, 3,678 pieces of clothing, and children’s snack packages.
In addition, an inspection was conducted on the free nutritious meal programme for schoolchildren.
The Central PKK also handed over educational aid in the form of three laptops, three infocus projectors, three screens, three whiteboard packages, as well as reading books and sports equipment packages. The activities were also filled with healthy gymnastics together with the community.
The agenda continued at Posyandu Intan Permata, Geudumbak Village, with 335 beneficiary family heads. The aid provided consisted of food packages, household equipment, 4,775 pieces of clothing, school supplies for 156 students, and supplementary food for children.
On that occasion, awards were also given to health cadres, aid for posyandu support facilities, and the handover of Posyandu management decrees. The activities were also combined with a progress report on the programme by the Head of the Provincial DPMG of Aceh, the laying of the first stone for MCK construction, and an inspection of a cheap market.
The visit concluded at Huntara Village of Ulee Rubek Timur, Seunuddon Subdistrict, with 117 beneficiary family heads receiving similar aid, including school supplies and supplementary food for children.
Overall, this activity reaffirms the commitment of the Central Posyandu Development Team in strengthening basic services through an integrated cross-sectoral approach, especially for disaster-affected communities in North Aceh.
