The Central Maluku Regency (Pemkab Malteng) has recorded a significant surge in public service and investment performance. The results for the Integrated One-Stop Service (PTSP) and Business Implementation Acceleration (PPB) for 2026 have climbed sharply, entering the ‘Very Good’ category with a score of 85.119.

This achievement is detailed in the Decree of the Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) of the Republic of Indonesia, Number 204.S of 2026, regarding the Determination of PTSP and PPB Performance Assessment Results for Local Governments for the year 2026, issued in Jakarta on 30 July 2026.

According to the decree, Central Maluku Regency, which scored 69.591 in 2024, achieved an impressive increase of 15.528 points, successfully securing the 133rd position nationally among 415 regencies. The top five rankings in the PTSP and PPB assessment were held by Dharmaraya Regency (98.366), Pinrang Regency (98.120), Semarang Regency (97.780), Gianyar Regency (97.033), and Musi Banyuasin Regency (96.892).

The Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM, Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, emphasised that this periodic evaluation is a vital instrument for driving the quality of licensing governance across Indonesia. “This performance assessment is conducted to ensure that every local government is capable of providing an investment climate that is conducive, transparent, and provides legal certainty for business actors,” stated Rosan in the written decree.

The annual evaluation is carried out as a follow-up to the implementation of Presidential Regulation Number 42 of 2020 regarding the mechanism for granting awards and imposing sanctions on ministries, agencies, and local governments. The results of this performance evaluation will subsequently be officially submitted to the Ministry of Finance as a consideration for policy-making.
