The Central Lombok Regency Government (Pemkab) in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) has allocated a budget of Rp 14.8 billion to build two new community health centres (puskesmas). The two puskesmas are Puskesmas Aik Darek in Batukliang Sub-district and Puskesmas Langko in Janapria Sub-district.

“According to the RUP (General Procurement Plan) for the two puskesmas, namely Langko and Aik Darek,” said the Head of the Central Lombok Health Office, Mamang Bagiansah, to detikBali in Praya on Monday (4/5/2026).

Data received by detikBali indicates that the construction of the two puskesmas has been in process since March 2026, with the supplier selection stage. The contract signing is planned for the end of April 2026.

Puskesmas Langko will be built over an area of 1,049 square metres, while Puskesmas Aik Darek is slightly larger at 1,052 square metres. The two new puskesmas are scheduled to be completed in early October and can be optimally utilised by December 2026.

According to Mamang, the rebuilding of the two puskesmas is being carried out to make healthcare facilities in Central Lombok more optimal. In particular, the condition of the two puskesmas is not yet up to prototype standards, thus requiring improvements.

“We are endeavouring to improve our healthcare service facilities at these two locations. Because the buildings of the two puskesmas there are still not up to prototype,” said Mamang.

Central Lombok Regency currently has 29 puskesmas spread across 12 sub-districts. Mamang hopes that the construction of Puskesmas Langko and Aik Darek will optimise services to the community.
