The Hajj and Umrah Ministry (Kemenhaj) in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), has denied that the departure costs for prospective Hajj pilgrims (CJH) for 2026 will rise. This statement comes after rumours circulated about an increase in CJH 2026 costs due to the surge in Avtur (aviation fuel) prices resulting from Iran closing the Strait of Hormuz. “There will be no increase (in costs),” said the Head of Kemenhaj Central Lombok, Lalu Syamsul Hadi, to detikBali via WhatsApp on Thursday (9/4/2026). Syamsul stated that the total number of CJH from Central Lombok to be dispatched is 1,174 people. “Everything is already settled (paid in full); it’s just a matter of departure now,” he emphasised. The departure of Hajj pilgrims for 2026 will proceed according to schedule despite the heating global situation due to the war between the United States (US) and Israel against Iran. The departure of Hajj pilgrims from Central Lombok is divided into four flight groups (kloter), consisting of two full kloters and two mixed kloters. Kemenhaj Central Lombok has set the departure schedule for Hajj pilgrims in stages. Syamsul assured that there will be no changes to the established schedule. He asked all CJH who will depart to prepare themselves accordingly. Here is the departure schedule for Hajj pilgrims from Central Lombok 2026. - Kloter 2 Entering the Mataram Hajj Dormitory: 22 April 2026 Departing to Makkah: 23 April 2026 via Lombok International Airport - Kloter 7 Entering the Dormitory: 29 April 2026 Departing: 30 April 2026 - Kloter 12 (mixed) Entering the Dormitory: 3 May 2026 Departing: 4 May 2026 - Kloter 15 Entering the Dormitory: 9 May 2026 Departing: 10 May 2026
