To welcome Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah, the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government again facilitates the public who wish to Mudik and reunite with family in their hometowns, said Yulindra Dedy, Head of the Central Kalimantan Department of Transportation (Dishub), in Palangka Raya on Saturday.

He said the Governor of Central Kalimantan, Agustiar Sabran, wants the provincial government to again be present with the public during Lebaran 2026, one of which is through the Free Mudik Programme, while ensuring that people can return to their hometowns using official transport that provides safety and comfort.

By providing 17 buses, the free Mudik from Palangka Raya targets six destinations, including Sampit, Pangkalan Bun, Pangkoh, Buntok, Muara Teweh, and Banjarmasin in South Kalimantan.

Then Palangka Raya - Buntok one bus with a quota of 35 passengers, Palangka Raya - Muara Teweh one bus with a quota of 35 passengers, and Palangka Raya - Banjarmasin three buses with a quota of 108 passengers.

“Departures of the fleet are planned to take place on 14-18 March 2026 with a total quota of 535 passengers,” he explained.
