Central Kalimantan Governor Asserts WFH for Civil Servants Must Not Disrupt Public Services
Central Kalimantan Governor Agustiar Sabran has asserted that the application of Work From Home (WFH) for Civil Servants (ASN) must not disrupt services to the public. According to him, this policy not only aims to create work flexibility but also to promote efficiency and the transformation of work culture within the government environment. “All heads of regional agencies are asked to ensure that the implementation of this policy does not disrupt organisational performance and services to the public,” he stressed on Tuesday (7/4). He also opened the possibility of adjusting ASN working hours as part of the WFH policy evaluation. “WFH is not just four working days a week, but the working hours will also be analysed. There may be a reduction in working hours,” he revealed. However, not all ASN can implement the work-from-home system. Institutions directly related to public services are still required to work from the office to maintain service quality. This policy is also part of efforts to support central government directives in promoting work culture transformation and energy savings. Through the implementation of this flexible work system, the government hopes to create more adaptive, efficient ASN performance that remains oriented towards public services.
