Palangka Raya (ANTARA) - Central Kalimantan Governor Agustiar Sabran has been awarded the TOP BUMD Supervisor 2026 at a national event organised by Majalah Top Business, the Institute of Regional Autonomy (i-OTDA), and several independent institutions.

Contacted in Palangka Raya on Monday (13/4) evening, Bank Kalteng’s Chairman of the Board of Commissioners Rahmat Nasution Hamka stated that alongside this, Bank Kalteng also received the TOP BUMD Awards 2026 with a Five-Star (Excellent) rating, while Bank Kalteng’s President Director Maslipansyah also received the TOP BUMD CEO 2026 award.

“This achievement is the result of synergy between management and shareholders, particularly Central Kalimantan Governor Agustiar Sabran, in driving healthy and sustainable performance,” he said.

Hamka emphasised that as a banking institution, his company adheres to principles of prudence and good governance in every aspect of its business operations.

“Support and strategic direction from the Central Kalimantan Governor as the controlling shareholder, along with all shareholders, are key factors in maintaining the consistency of Bank Kalteng’s performance,” he stated.

Hamka added that this synergy forms the foundation for ensuring Bank Kalteng continues to grow professionally, accountably, and capable of providing tangible contributions to regional economic development.

The award was given based on an objective and comprehensive assessment of business performance, innovation, governance, and contributions to regional economic development across more than 1,170 BUMDs throughout Indonesia.

Bank Kalteng’s President Director Maslipansyah explained that the Five-Star (Excellent) rating is the highest level awarded to BUMDs with superior performance, strong leadership, sustainable technology-based innovation, and tangible contributions to regional economic development.

“This award is the result of the company’s consistency in maintaining healthy and sustainable growth,” he said.

This achievement is supported by Bank Kalteng’s solid financial performance throughout the 2025 fiscal year. Based on audited performance reports, Bank Kalteng recorded total assets of Rp20.4 trillion (a significant increase from Rp16.8 trillion in 2024), Third-Party Funds (DPK) rising to Rp13.8 trillion, credit disbursements growing to Rp11.7 trillion, and net profit reaching Rp368.5 billion.

This performance reflects the strengthening of business fundamentals, prudent risk management, and increasing public trust in Bank Kalteng.
