Palangkaraya (ANTARA) - The Central Kalimantan Provincial Government is strengthening synergy with the South Kalimantan Provincial Government as one of the efforts to accelerate development on both regional and national scales.

“Development requires synergy and collaboration, and through this rapport, we strengthen our togetherness and brotherhood,” said Central Kalimantan Governor Agustiar Sabran during a break in several strategic agendas alongside South Kalimantan Governor Muhidin at Kodam XXII/Tambun Bungai, Palangkaraya, on Thursday.

According to him, Central Kalimantan and South Kalimantan are two provinces that share a direct border, making synergy and synchronisation in regional development implementation crucial to achieving optimal results.

“Supporting and strengthening each other in the hope of opening wider doors for collaboration in various sectors to bring prosperity to the people of both provinces,” he explained.

Agustiar then stated that regarding regional stability, he invited strengthened cooperation in maintaining price balance and the availability of staple goods in controlling inflation.

Agustiar also committed to promoting investment facilitation while still considering social aspects and environmental conservation, both in developing local tourism potential and other areas.

“I invite us to maintain this balance towards sustainable development that benefits the wider community for real impacts on regional economic growth,” he emphasised.

Agustiar also affirmed the region’s readiness to collaborate in supporting and succeeding central government policies and programmes, both in education, food security, and others.

South Kalimantan Governor Muhidin expressed appreciation to the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government apparatus, Kodam XXII/Tambun Bungai, and others for the very warm welcome.

“May this togetherness not just be for today; in the future, we continue to maintain this togetherness,” he said.
