Central Java Wins Award for Integrity E-Learning Programme for Civil Servants from KPK

Central Java Governor Ahmad Luthfi stated that the e-learning programme educates civil servants on integrity, particularly in combating corruption. He noted that the province has approximately 47,000 ASN who are required to uphold integrity to achieve clean and good governance. The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) developed the e-learning programme to provide understanding and prevention, ensuring ASN do not engage in deviant behaviour, break the law, or abuse their authority. From an initial target of 2,500 participants, Central Java completed the programme for 7,245 ASN, reaching 289.8 percent of the target. Luthfi emphasised that integrity is the dignity of any agency and praised the KPK’s preventive efforts. He added that the Regional Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDMD) will continue to promote the e-learning initiative to educate ASN against legal violations.

Head of BPSDMD Central Java, Uswatun Hasanah, confirmed the province surpassed the pilot target, achieving 289 percent. She announced plans to open further batches, each comprising 3,000 ASN, to cover the entire 47,000 to 49,000 provincial government workforce. Uswatun acknowledged initial challenges, including material migration issues, high participant enthusiasm causing slow login processes, and suboptimal access to content. Following an evaluation, BPSDMD and the Digital Communication and Informatics Office have prepared improvements, including server infrastructure strengthening, migration to a Virtual Private Server, content optimisation for lighter access, and more proportional participant scheduling per batch.

The pilot programme was implemented across 12 ministries and regional governments, reaching a total of 55,493 ASN. KPK Chairman Setyo Budiyanto expressed appreciation for all participating institutions and presented awards to the 12 entities, particularly those exceeding targets. He stated the programme is not solely for the KPK’s benefit but for all 6.7 million ASN across Indonesia, and that the e-learning instrument, with its thoroughly reviewed modules, will be developed into a national movement for integrity education.
