Central Java Regional Parliament Backs Collaborative Governance in Regional Development

This synergy is realised through the formation of the Berlian Forum, which involves all political party factions in the Central Java DPRD.

“That is not all — we have also created the ‘Senayan Forum’, bringing in members of parliament elected from Central Java constituencies to contribute to developing the region. We are also engaging ministers who hail from Central Java,” said Luthfi in a written statement on Monday (7/9/2026).

The Governor conveyed this principle during his remarks at the inauguration of the Central Java Provincial Leadership Council of the Golkar Party for the 2025–2030 term, held at the Grand Mercure Hotel in Solo Baru, Sukoharjo Regency, on Saturday (5/9).

Also in attendance were the Speaker of the Central Java Provincial DPRD, Sumanto, alongside Deputy Speakers Sarif Abdillah and Heri Pudyatmoko. In addition, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, Minister of Population Wihaji, Minister of Communications and Digital Affairs Meutya Hafid, as well as regional heads and political parties from across Central Java were present.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Central Java Golkar Provincial Leadership Council, who is also Deputy Speaker of the Central Java Provincial DPRD, Muhammad Saleh, assessed that Ahmad Luthfi’s leadership has consistently prioritised cross-sector collaboration. This approach, he noted, has been able to embrace various parties regardless of group or political party background.

“Governor Ahmad Luthfi’s performance has been extraordinary. Economic growth is above the national level, poverty has fallen, and unemployment has also declined. In terms of performance, Mr Luthfi is remarkable,” said Saleh.

Following the confirmation of the Central Java Golkar Provincial Leadership Council, the Chairman of the Golkar Central Executive Board, who is also Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bahlil Lahadalia, emphasised the importance of togetherness among political parties to improve public welfare. He said that although Indonesia has many political parties, the primary goal is the people.

“Thank you to all the party chairs for coming here. Even though we are ‘colourful’, our hearts remain red and white. We may be colourful, but our goal is one — the welfare of the people,” Bahlil said.

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources is also continuing its efforts to accelerate equitable access to energy in order to improve public welfare in a sustainable manner. This strategic step is targeted to bring electricity to every hamlet and village in Indonesia by 2030.

“We support all government programmes, such as MBG (Free Nutritious Meals); we will oversee it because it is for our generation,” he concluded.

The event closed with the launch of the ‘Replace Torn Shoes Movement’, providing 44,444 pairs of shoes to pupils. The movement was launched so that pupils can step forward and look towards a better future.
