Central Java Provincial Government Wins KPK Award for Integrity E-Learning for Civil Servants
The Central Java Provincial Government has received an award from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) for its participation in the Integrity E-Learning Programme for State Civil Apparatus (ASN). The certificate of appreciation was presented by KPK Chairman Setyo Budiyanto to Central Java Governor Ahmad Luthfi during the national launch of the programme at the National Institute of Public Administration (LAN) office in Jakarta on Wednesday. Central Java significantly exceeded the KPK’s initial target of 2,500 participants, with 7,245 civil servants completing the programme, representing 289.8 percent of the target. Governor Luthfi noted that Central Java has around 47,000 civil servants who must uphold integrity to achieve clean and good governance. He stated that the KPK’s prevention programme is excellent and that the Regional Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDMD) will continue to promote the e-learning initiative to educate civil servants against legal violations. Uswatun Hasanah, Head of BPSDMD Central Java, confirmed that the province surpassed the pilot target. The pilot programme was implemented across 12 ministries and regional governments, reaching a total of 55,493 civil servants. KPK Chairman Setyo Budiyanto expressed appreciation for all participating institutions, noting that many exceeded their targets. He emphasised that the programme serves the interests of all 6.7 million Indonesian civil servants, not just the KPK, and described the e-learning instrument as robust, with modules reviewed by multiple parties. The KPK aims to transform the initiative into a national movement for integrity education.
