The Central Java Provincial Government continues to strengthen its commitment to developing the digital literacy and skills of the community. This step was formalised through the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between the Central Java Provincial Archives and Library Service and PT Educa Sisfomedia Indonesia (Educa Studio) as part of the Central Java Literacy Festival.

This cooperation is a follow-up to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) previously established between the Central Java Provincial Government and its partner. This strategic collaboration carries the major theme of strengthening digital transformation and optimising the role of regional libraries as catalysts for developing a culture of literacy within the Central Java region.

Through this synergy with Educa Studio, the Central Java Provincial Government and its partner will implement a series of comprehensive programmes targeting various segments of society. The primary focus of this cooperation includes the enhancement of digital access and the optimisation of library resources.

CEO of Educa Group, Andi Taru, stated that this collaboration is part of a commitment to introducing technology that delivers a real impact. According to him, digital transformation must be able to open up wider, easier, and more relevant access to learning and book availability for the general public.

“Through this collaboration with the Central Java Provincial Government, we want to participate in building a literacy ecosystem that can combine technology, creativity, and local wisdom,” said Andi Taru.

With this cooperation, it is expected that regional libraries in Central Java will not merely serve as book repositories, but will transform into centres for innovation and inclusive digital skills development for all citizens of Central Java.
