Central Java Provincial Government Proposes 2,706 Civil Service Vacancies, Healthcare Workers Top the List

The Central Java Provincial Government has proposed the recruitment of 2,706 civil servants to the Indonesian Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN-RB). From this total, healthcare workers constitute the largest number of positions.

“For the 2026 CASN formation proposal, the Governor has sent a letter to the Minister of PAN-RB dated 31 March 2026, with a total of 2,076. The CPNS formation consists of 1,321, while the PPPK (government employees with work agreements) formation accounts for 755,” stated the Acting Head of the Regional Civil Service Agency (BKD) of Central Java Province, Dhoni Widianto, on Sunday (28/06/2026).

He added that the proposed formations are intended to fill various positions, including teachers, technical staff, and healthcare workers. “We will be allocated a quota. Therefore, while our proposal is at that level, the final quota granted may not necessarily match it. The Ministry (PAN-RB) will subsequently conduct a needs analysis,” he said.

Dhoni admitted that he does not yet know when the Ministry of PAN-RB will announce the specific CASN quota for the Central Java Provincial Government. He was also unable to confirm whether the recruitment process would commence this year or in 2027.

“Looking at the title, it is for 2026, but we must observe the ongoing dynamics,” he concluded.
