The Central Java Provincial Government (Pemprov Jateng) has confirmed that the repair of Randublatung-Cepu Main Road in Blora Regency is included in the 2026 priority programme. The infrastructure project is currently in the tender process with a budget allocation of Rp5.276 billion. The Head of Central Java’s Public Works and Spatial Planning Agency (PUPR), Henggar Budi Anggoro, stated that the budget is focused on addressing severe damage, particularly in Kediren Village. However, following the Governor’s instructions, the length of the road to be repaired may be extended. ‘In line with the Governor’s directives, the technical design will be reviewed to extend the length of the road to be repaired,’ Henggar said in Semarang on Monday, 1 June 2026. Central Java Governor Ahmad Luthfi stressed that all departments within the PUPR and Road Agency must promptly respond to public complaints, especially those highlighted on social media. He emphasised that work quality must be the top priority. ‘Don’t do it haphazardly. It must be done professionally, not just a quick fix,’ Luthfi stated. He requested that severely damaged roads receive priority handling to avoid public inconvenience. In addition to optimising the provincial budget, Pemprov Jateng is actively seeking funding support through the Presidential Instruction for Regional Roads (IJD) programme. For 2026, a request for Rp46.6 billion has been submitted to the Ministry of Public Works to expedite the Singget-Doplang-Cepu section. This collaborative effort is expected to accelerate infrastructure recovery in Blora, given that last year’s repair of a 2.611-kilometre stretch from Petak to Betekan villages cost Rp9.92 billion. Pemprov Jateng stated that public feedback and criticism via social media are crucial for evaluating and improving responsive and flexible public services on the ground.
