The announcement was made during the submission of the BPK Audit Results Report on the Regional Government Financial Report (LKPD) at the Central Java Provincial DPRD Plenary Meeting in Semarang on Monday (8/6/2026). The meeting was attended by regional leadership (forkopimda), Central Java Provincial Secretary Sumarno, leaders of the Central Java DPRD, Director General of State Financial Audit V of BPK Widhi Widayat, and Head of the BPK Central Java Representative Ahmad Luthfi H Rahmatullah.

Central Java’s achievements extend beyond the audit opinion. The Follow-up Rate of Audit Result Recommendations (TLRHP) for the Central Java Provincial Government was recorded at 96.48 per cent, making it the highest in Indonesia. This figure significantly exceeds the national average, which hovers around 75 per cent.

Director General of State Financial Audit V of BPK, Widhi Widayat, noted that Central Java’s TLRHP achievement was a standout feature of the audit results. “There is an interesting aspect; the completion rate of the follow-up on audit recommendations by the Central Java Provincial Government is the highest in Indonesia,” Widhi stated in a written report on Monday.

Widhi emphasised that the Unqualified Opinion (WTP) is not merely an award but a true reflection of accountability and good governance. The high TLRHP rate also serves as a vital indicator of the local government’s seriousness in addressing audit findings.

Central Java Governor Ahmad Luthfi expressed his gratitude for the 15th WTP achievement, stating it serves as a catalyst to continue improving the quality of government governance. “This is a challenge for us to always create a good and clean government,” said Ahmad Luthfi.

Luthfi emphasised that the TLRHP rate, which is nearly 96 per cent, reflects the Central Java Provincial Government’s concrete commitment to responding to every BPK finding and recommendation. He also urged all regional apparatus organisations not to delay the resolution of BPK recommendations, despite the 60-day deadline provided.

Regarding financial performance, the BPK audit showed that the realised regional revenue for the Central Java Provincial Government for the 2025 Fiscal Year reached IDR 23.761 trillion, or 96.38 per cent of the IDR 24.654 trillion target. Realised regional expenditure and transfer expenditure were recorded at IDR 23.871 trillion, or 94.61 per cent of the IDR 25.231 trillion budget. Net financing for the 2025 Fiscal Year amounted to IDR 577.049 billion, sourced from the use of excess budget surplus (SiLPA) and the repayment of regional loans.
