Central Java Police (Polda Jateng) will conduct an examination of a female student from Sultan Agung Islamic University (Unissula) in Semarang who is suspected to be the victim of sexual harassment. The alleged perpetrator, with initials LT, is an alumnus of Unissula and currently serves as an official in the Student Islamic Technology Institution (LTMI) under the Central Board (PB) of the Indonesian Muslim Students’ Association (HMI).

The Head of Public Relations of Polda Jateng, Senior Commissioner Pol Artanto, revealed that investigators from Ditres PPA Polda Jateng had already met and spoken with the alleged victim and her legal representative at Polda Jateng headquarters on Thursday (26/3/2026). However, the examination process has not yet been carried out.

“Later, there will possibly be an official clarification with the investigators on Tuesday, 31 March 2026,” Artanto stated on Sunday (29/3/2026).

He added that investigators from Ditres PPA Polda Jateng will also examine the alleged perpetrator. However, Artanto mentioned that the investigators have not yet scheduled a summons for the suspect, in this case LT.

“So this is just one side first from the complainant or the reporter to convince the investigators about the complaint that has been made,” Artanto said.

An official and member of LTMI in PB HMI with initials LT is suspected of having committed sexual harassment against a female student from Unissula Semarang, Central Java. The alleged victim is also a cadre of HMI Sultan Agung.
