Central Java Police Mobile Brigade Harvests Eight Tonnes of Maize in Kendal
The Central Java Police Mobile Brigade (Brimob) has harvested around eight tonnes of maize from a 4.5-hectare plot of land in Singorojo District, Kendal Regency, in support of the national food security programme. Central Java Police Mobile Brigade Commander, Senior Commissioner Noor Hudaya, stated on Saturday that the activity was an implementation of the Police Mobile Brigade Corps’ directive to support food security programmes across various regions. “The National Police contributes to increasing food production and utilising productive land, and is expected to provide economic benefits as well as strengthen community self-reliance in the agricultural sector,” he said. According to Noor Hudaya, Brimob’s involvement in the food security programme demonstrates the National Police’s commitment to supporting government policies aimed at improving public welfare. He noted that food security is one of the government’s strategic programmes requiring the support and collaboration of all elements of the nation. He therefore expressed hope that the maize harvest would not only benefit the community but also serve as a tangible contribution by the National Police to strengthening national food security. Noor Hudaya added that the successful harvest was the result of synergy between the Central Java Regional Police, the local government, and the community in optimising the agricultural potential of Kendal Regency. “The National Police is present to provide broader benefits to the community, including supporting government programmes in the field of food security,” he said.
