The Central Java Regional Police (Polda Jateng) is preparing various service innovations to welcome the 2026 Eid exodus season. These innovations are designed to ensure that public travel is safe, comfortable, and smooth.

Polda Jateng has introduced a service concept titled “Safety and Hospitality” and launched an integrated security and exodus service system called Travel Assistance Corridor (TAC). Through TAC, various services such as Valet and Ride, One Stop Service at Exodus Service Posts, and the digital Chat Sipolan service can operate in an integrated manner to provide a safer and more comfortable exodus experience.

“Travel Assistance Corridor (TAC) serves as the integration hub for various flagship exodus service programmes by Polda Jateng. This system enables monitoring of traffic flow conditions and direct public services through a control centre connected to various security checkpoints in the field,” according to a statement from Polda Jateng released on Thursday (12 March 2026).

The motorcycle transport service, or Valet and Ride, has been introduced to reduce accident risks. Through this service, the public can travel using a bus whilst their motorcycles are transported using specialised vehicles.

“One of the innovations being prepared is Valet and Ride, a service for transporting exodus travellers’ motorcycles using specialised vehicles. With this facility, exodus travellers can continue their journey by bus in a safer and more comfortable manner, operating from Brebes to Semarang city. This programme is offered to reduce the risk of traffic accidents that frequently occur on long-distance motorcycle journeys, whilst helping exodus travellers avoid fatigue during their travel,” the statement noted.

Polda Jateng has also established One Stop Service centres at various Exodus Service Posts. In a single location, exodus travellers can access multiple services at once, including healthcare services, travel information, rest facilities, and police services.

“The presence of these integrated posts is expected to help exodus travellers rest comfortably whilst obtaining quick assistance in case they encounter difficulties during their journey,” the statement added.

Polda Jateng has also introduced Chat Sipolan (Central Java Regional Police Traffic Information System), an AI-based chatting service accessible via WhatsApp to facilitate public access to information.

“Through this service, the public can obtain various travel information quickly, accurately, and in real-time. Available information includes the Valet and Ride programme, One Stop Service Exodus Service Post locations, traffic management, congestion conditions, alternative routes, weather, and other important information such as emergency contacts, rest area locations, service posts, security checkpoints, and tourist attractions in Central Java,” the statement explained.

Chat Sipolan can be easily accessed by scanning a provided barcode. The service is available free of charge 24 hours a day through WhatsApp.

The service also features a voice message function so drivers can obtain information without diverting their focus whilst driving. Additionally, the service is directly integrated with the Polri 110 Call Centre, enabling the public to receive immediate assistance if they encounter difficulties on the road.

“Through these various service innovations, the Central Java Regional Police hope that the 2026 Eid exodus can proceed more safely, in good order, and enjoyably for all members of the public travelling through the Central Java region,” the statement concluded.
