Central Java Police Find Drug Paraphernalia from Officer Accused of Torturing and Forcing Victim to Mix Meth

Central Java Regional Police are investigating alleged drug abuse by Aiptu N, a member of the Tegal City Police, who is implicated in the alleged torture of a 30-year-old woman identified as MAN. Head of Public Relations for the Central Java Police, Commissioner Artanto, revealed that investigators found a smoking device while handling the alleged abuse case. “Urine and blood tests are still under analysis to confirm whether the person concerned used drugs or not,” he said on Tuesday, 7 July 2026. In addition to probing the alleged drug abuse, the police are preparing a hearing for the Police Professional Code of Ethics Commission against Aiptu N. The ethics trial will be held after investigators gather sufficient evidence. Aiptu N is currently detained at the Central Java Police Detention Centre to undergo criminal proceedings and ethical examination. It was previously reported that new facts have emerged in the alleged torture case experienced by a woman with the initials M. The victim not only claimed to have been abused and confined but also allegedly forced to mix crystal methamphetamine by the active police officer, who has now been reported to the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency. “The last time, the victim was forced to make meth herself and was doused with what is suspected to be acid,” said the victim’s attorney, Raden Reza. The alleged violence involving an active police officer came to public attention when the 30-year-old woman reported the man, said to be her husband, to the Criminal Investigation Agency for repeated abuse, confinement, forced drug consumption, and torture that left her with burns on nearly half her body. The report was filed by the Hotman 911 Team on Thursday, 2 July 2026. The victim’s attorney stated that the report was received under number LP/B/295/VII/2026/SPKT/BARESKRIM POLRI. After the report was filed, the victim was immediately questioned by investigators and subsequently taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital for a medical examination.
