Central Java Manpower Office to Hold Job Fair, More Than 4,500 Vacancies Prepared

The Manpower and Transmigration Office (Disnakertrans) of Central Java Province will hold a job fair in commemoration of Central Java’s 81st anniversary on 20-21 August 2026. More than 4,500 job vacancies will be opened at the job fair.

Head of Central Java Disnakertrans, Ahmad Aziz, said that 50-60 companies intended to participate in the job fair on 20-21 August 2026. However, due to limited space at the Central Java Disnakertrans office, selection and curation had to be carried out.

“There are 30 that we have selected and curated, with 257 job titles. Then the vacancies number 4,587. Of those 30 companies, 16 will immediately follow up by conducting interviews,” Aziz said in an interview on Saturday (15/8/2026).

He added that the job vacancies are distributed across all education levels, namely primary school (1,400 vacancies), junior high school (587 vacancies), senior high school/vocational school (1,995 vacancies), diploma D1-D3 (523 vacancies), and university graduates (82 vacancies). As for access, 2,693 vacancies are for the general public and 1,614 other vacancies can be applied for by both the general public and people with disabilities. There are 10 vacancies provided specifically for people with disabilities.

Aziz explained that the companies participating in the job fair operate in various sectors, including manufacturing, agriculture/heavy equipment, food distribution, herbal medicine and food industry, health and pharmaceuticals, finance, tourism and hospitality, and retail. Several companies in the Kendal Special Economic Zone will also participate in the job fair.

“For those who want to work abroad, there are many interested applicants, so we are providing two P3MI (Indonesian migrant worker placement companies),” Aziz said.
