Central Java Deputy Governor Plants Maize with Santri in Pesantren Empowerment Drive

Central Java Deputy Governor Taj Yasin Maimoen planted maize together with the Santri Gayeng Nusantara (SGN) group at the Agro Edu Wisata Religi in Bandingan Village, Bawang District, Banjarnegara Regency. This collaboration between the government and the pesantren (Islamic boarding school) community is intended to provide opportunities for local residents to cultivate land owned by Indonesia Power that has long been left unused, whilst also educating santri (Islamic boarding school students) in farming practices.
