Central Java BKD Denies Hoax About Part-Time PPPK Placement in Community Organisations

SEMARANG – The Regional Personnel Agency (BKD) of Central Java Province has denied circulating reports that part-time government employees with work agreements (PPPK) were being placed in mass organisations (ormas). The agency confirmed the news was a hoax.

Acting Head of Central Java BKD Dhoni Widianto said that after the reports about PPPK placements in mass organisations spread, his office immediately conducted an investigation. “We responded to the issue straight away by carrying out a trace. The result was that there was no truthful information about part-time PPPK being placed in mass organisations, because their placements already comply with the applicable regulations,” he said on Thursday (23/7/2026).

He added that his office had also checked the placement decrees (SK) for employees across all regional apparatus organisations (OPD) under the Central Java Provincial Government. “From our investigation, there is not a single employee placement decree, particularly for part-time PPPK in mass organisations,” he said.

Dhoni asked part-time PPPK employees and the public not to worry about or believe unverified information. “There is no need to be anxious because we have checked and traced it. The news is untrue,” he said.

He said a clarification regarding the issue of PPPK placements in mass organisations had already been uploaded on the Central Java BKD’s social media account. “We have already set the record straight on the Central Java Provincial BKD’s Instagram account. So it can be checked. We are transparent — please verify the data on the BKD’s social media or Instagram account for Central Java Province,” Dhoni said.

The Central Java BKD urged the public to always verify information circulating on social media through official government channels before sharing it, in order to prevent the spread of hoaxes.
