Central Jakarta TP PKK Quickly Processes Death Certificate for Train Crash Victim

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Central Jakarta Family Empowerment and Welfare Mobilisation Team (TP PKK) acted swiftly to issue a death certificate for one of the victims of the collision between the KA Argo Bromo Anggrek train and a KRL Commuter Line train at Bekasi Timur Station, West Java, on Monday (27/4), in the name of Nuryati binti Tarmidi.

Central Jakarta TP PKK Chair Witri Yenny Arifin stated that the deceased was a Jumantik cadre from RT 004/008 (mother of Mrs Halimah, a Dasawisma cadre from RW 008) in Utan Panjang Ward, Kemayoran Subdistrict, Central Jakarta.

“I immediately processed the death certificate for the mother (deceased), so she now has the death certificate, and hopefully it can be utilised directly,” she said in her statement in Jakarta on Tuesday.

Witri, also representing the Civil Registry Office, quickly prepared the death certificate for Mrs Nuryati binti the late Tarmidi, hoping it would be properly used by the surviving family.

“May the deceased be accepted by Allah’s side, and may all the families of the victims left behind be granted strength and sincerity,” she said.

The deceased Nuryati was identified as having died at Bekasi City Hospital along with two other bodies, while RS Polri had 10 bodies, and RS Mitra Bekasi and RS Bella Bekasi each had one body.

Metro Jaya Police stated that the victims of the collision between the KA Argo Bromo Anggrek and KRL Commuter Line at Bekasi Timur Station, West Java, on Monday (27/4) night totalled 15 people.

“10 bodies at RS Polri, 3 bodies at RSUD Bekasi, one body at RSU Bella, one body at RS Mitra Keluarga,” said the Head of Public Relations of Metro Jaya Police, Commissioner Pol Budi Hermanto, in his statement in Jakarta on Tuesday (28/4).
