President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto attended the peak celebration of the 79th National Cooperative Day (Harkopnas) held at the Indonesia Arena, Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta. Metro Jaya Police Chief Commissioner General Asep Edi Suheri and Central Jakarta Police Chief Senior Commissioner Reynold EP Hutagalung were directly involved in ensuring the event’s security. “Security was carried out comprehensively to ensure that the entire series of events attended by the President of the Republic of Indonesia proceeded safely, orderly, and smoothly,” said Senior Commissioner Reynold in a statement on Sunday (12/7/2026). He accompanied Commissioner General Asep in implementing the security measures for President Prabowo Subianto’s visit related to the peak commemoration of the 79th National Cooperative Day 2026, which carried the theme ‘Koperasi Berdaya, Indonesia Berjaya’. The activity took place at the Indonesia Arena, Gelora Bung Karno complex, on Sunday (12/7), at Jalan Pintu Satu Gelora Senayan, Central Jakarta. Senior Commissioner Reynold stated that all security personnel had been deployed according to their respective duties and responsibilities to ensure the safety of the head of state and the attending public. “Security was carried out optimally by prioritising synergy among all security elements. The goal is for the entire series of the President’s activities during the 79th National Cooperative Day commemoration to proceed safely, orderly, and conducively,” he said. He also urged the public to comply with officers’ instructions during the event and to maintain public order. Members of the public who need police assistance or wish to report any security disturbances can contact the National Police emergency service via the 110 hotline, which is active 24 hours a day.
