Central Jakarta monitors PPID to maintain informative rating through E-Monev

The Central Jakarta City Administration is strengthening its monitoring of the performance of Public Information Management Officers (PPID) through the 2026 Electronic Monitoring and Evaluation (E-Monev) system to maintain its informative rating in public information disclosure.

Central Jakarta City Secretary Denny Ramdany said E-Monev simplifies the input and monitoring process so that shortcomings in public information services can be evaluated promptly.

“This is a breakthrough spearheaded by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Information Commission to simplify input and monitoring, so that if there are obstacles in public services, an evaluation can be carried out immediately,” Denny said in an official statement in Jakarta on Monday.

He said Central Jakarta has consistently obtained the informative category in every assessment period for public information disclosure.

Therefore, monitoring of PPID continues to be improved to ensure that the public information provided meets the requirements.

“In the months leading up to December, we will continue to monitor PPID. If there are any shortcomings, we will evaluate them immediately, of course to maintain the rating that has been achieved,” Denny said.

E-Monev 2026 is being participated in by 1,001 public bodies across 22 categories. This number has increased compared to 2025, which only had 829 public bodies.

Marulina said information disclosure provides space for the public to understand, participate, provide input, and oversee the government.

“The more open the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is, the greater the space for the public to understand, participate, provide input, and take part in oversight,” Marulina said.
