Central Jakarta Mayor optimistic Posyandu Melati 02 will win provincial title

Central Jakarta Mayor Arifin is optimistic that Posyandu Melati 02 Duri Pulo, Gambir, will achieve the best result in the assessment for the Outstanding Cadre and Integrated Health Post (Posyandu) Competition at the DKI Jakarta provincial level.

“Posyandu Melati 02 Duri Pulo has implemented six minimum service standards, including in the fields of health, education, public works, public housing, public order and community protection, and social affairs,” said Arifin in Jakarta on Wednesday.

The statement was made by Arifin as the DKI Jakarta Health Office team conducted a field verification at Posyandu Melati 02 RW 02, Duri Pulo, as part of the provincial-level assessment of outstanding cadres and posyandu.

According to him, the presence of the field verification team from the DKI Jakarta Health Office serves as a morale boost for the Posyandu Melati 02 cadres to continue providing the best services to the community.

“We believe that all the preparations, innovations and hard work that have been carried out will lead Posyandu Melati 02 to achieve the best result and represent DKI Jakarta at the national level,” he said.

Arifin expressed hope that the various preparations and innovations undertaken can improve the quality of services at Posyandu Melati 02 while also enabling the posyandu to represent DKI Jakarta in a similar event at the national level.

Meanwhile, Chairwoman of the Central Jakarta PKK Driving Team, Witri Yenny Arifin, said that Posyandu Melati 02 has implemented seven innovations, namely the Jak Hub application, the Jaksigo outreach programme, Jawara, Berlian, Selendang Mayang, Kancil and Super.

She said the implementation of these innovations has had an impact on increasing community participation in utilising health services at Posyandu Melati 02.

“The coverage of resident visits was initially around 60-70 percent, but after the seven innovations were introduced, it rose to above 90 percent,” Witri revealed.
