Central Jakarta Government Distributes Logistics to Kemayoran Fire Victims
The Central Jakarta Social Services Agency has distributed logistics to victims of a fire in the densely populated residential area of Pasar Jiung, Kemayoran. “We have distributed logistics in the form of ready-to-eat meals,” said the Head of the Central Jakarta Social Services, Agus Aprianto, in Jakarta on Tuesday.
According to him, upon receiving information regarding the fire in Kebon Kosong Village, Kemayoran District, Central Jakarta, his office immediately prepared logistics for the victims. He stated that the Social Services Agency distributed 1,000 boxes of ready-to-eat meals to the fire victims following the incident.
“For this morning, we have also prepared logistics, and there is also assistance from BAZNAS DKI,” he added.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Central Jakarta Metro Police, Kombes Pol Reynold E. P Hutagalung, stated that they have coordinated with the Brimob Unit of the Metro Jaya Regional Police to assist the needs of the displaced residents through a field kitchen. “Since last night, we have coordinated with the Brimob Unit of the Metro Jaya Regional Police, and a field kitchen has been provided since the early hours. This morning, the field kitchen is ready to help meet the needs of the fire-affected residents,” he said.
The police, along with relevant agencies, have also set up evacuation tents in the Kebon Kosong area for those affected by the fire. “We have also installed evacuation tents at the Kebon Kosong location for affected residents so they can have temporary shelter,” he added.
