Central Jakarta District Court Strengthens Commitment to Clean and Bribery-Free Judiciary
The Central Jakarta District Court has strengthened its commitment to realising a clean, high-integrity, transparent judiciary that is free from bribery practices.
Purwanto Abdullah, Head of the Spokesperson Team for the Central Jakarta District Court, stated that this commitment was reinforced through the socialisation of the Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP) to both internal and external parties interacting with the court in Jakarta on Wednesday (9/9).
“This socialisation activity is part of an effort to build shared understanding and awareness regarding the importance of bribery prevention, as well as creating a judicial environment that upholds integrity, professionalism, and accountability,” Purwanto said when confirmed in Jakarta on Friday.
He explained that the socialisation for internal parties is aimed at strengthening the commitment of all Central Jakarta District Court officials to consistently perform their duties and provide services professionally, objectively, and transparently, while remaining free from all forms of bribery, gratification, and practices of corruption, collusion, and nepotism (KKN).
Meanwhile, the socialisation for external parties serves as a medium to convey the court’s commitment to implementing SMAP, while inviting all parties connected to the court to work together in creating a clean and high-integrity environment for service and law enforcement.
In its implementation, Purwanto noted that SMAP emphasises the ‘4T’ principle: Do Not Receive, Do Not Give, Do Not Request, and Do Not Misuse.
“These principles serve as an important guideline for all parties in maintaining integrity and preventing bribery practices in every service process and the execution of duties within the Central Jakarta District Court environment,” he said.
Through this socialisation, the Central Jakarta District Court hopes to create a shared understanding and alignment between internal and external parties in supporting the implementation of SMAP.
According to him, synergy among all parties is a vital part of realising judicial governance that is clean, transparent, accountable, and oriented towards high-quality public service.
The implementation of SMAP is also part of the court’s commitment to developing an Integrity Zone and realising an integrated and trustworthy judiciary, aiming to become a Court with Superior and Resilient Court Quality Certification (AMPUH).
“The Central Jakarta District Court, together, maintains integrity to realise a clean and authoritative judiciary in accordance with the vision and mission of the Supreme Court,” Purwanto emphasised.
