Central Jakarta District Court Investigates Viral Video of Officer Playing Game During Service Duty

A video showing an officer casually playing a game while on service duty at the Central Jakarta District Court (PN Jakpus) has gone viral on social media. The spokesperson for PN Jakpus, Andi Saputra, said that they are conducting internal coordination to ascertain the truth and identify the officer in the video. “As of this morning, we are still coordinating internally to verify the video, when and at what time it was taken, and who the officer in question is,” Andi Saputra said when contacted on Wednesday (18/3/2026). Andi said that PN Jakpus is entering the Lebaran holiday period. However, Andi stated that they will soon investigate the video further. “We are all on Lebaran holiday leave. So we will investigate it as soon as possible for further follow-up,” he said. As seen by detikcom, the viral video shows a female officer playing a game. The laptop screen is facing two ways, so it can be seen by the public queuing for services. The visitor chairs in front of the officer’s desk are empty. The room is labelled ‘Integrated One-Stop Service Central Jakarta District Court’.
