The ruling is documented in case number 150/Pdt.Sus-Parpol/2026/PN Jkt.Pst. The lawsuit was filed against the PPP Central Leadership (DPP), represented by General Chairman Muhamad Mardiono and Deputy Secretary-General Jabbar Idris, as well as Uu Ruzhanul Ulum.

DPP PPP’s legal counsel Syarif stated that the panel of judges dismissed the lawsuit because the plaintiffs had not followed the internal party dispute resolution mechanism as stipulated in the law.

“The lawsuit filed at Central Jakarta District Court was dismissed due to the plaintiffs’ failure to exhaust internal party dispute resolution procedures,” Syarif said on Tuesday, 26 May 2026.

Syarif likened the victory to a ‘hat-trick’ for DPP PPP in facing various lawsuits related to internal party dynamics. He added that several similar lawsuits had previously been dismissed in court.

“Like a football match, this lawsuit is the third hat-trick for DPP PPP with a 4-0 scoreline. Many lawsuits have been dismissed, yet some parties still seek to provoke internal party discord,” Syarif said.

According to Syarif, the ruling further affirms the legality of the DPW PPP West Java leadership under Uu Ruzhanul Ulum and Agus Solihin, as per the DPP PPP decree.

Syarif also noted that the judges’ consideration referred to the internal party dispute resolution team’s authority, equivalent to the Party Court, as regulated in Supreme Court Circular No. 4 of 2016 in conjunction with Supreme Court Review Decision No. 128/PK/TUN/2023.

“With this ruling, the leadership of DPW PPP West Java in accordance with the DPP PPP decree, namely Uu Ruzhanul Ulum and Agus Solihin, is clearly valid,” Syarif said.

Syarif expressed hope that all PPP cadres would reunite and focus on strengthening the party ahead of upcoming political agendas, including the 2029 general election.

“I hope all parties reunite to strengthen PPP moving forward in anticipation of the 2029 election, and cease creating disturbances through such means,” he concluded.
