Central Jakarta Court Values Ex-Hotel Sultan Area Executed at Rp28.9 Trillion
Jakarta - Central Jakarta District Court Spokesperson Sunoto stated that the value of the former Hotel Sultan area executed by the court reached Rp28.9 trillion. According to him, the execution of the land and buildings in the elite Jakarta area constitutes the largest and most expensive civil execution in Indonesian history. βThe implementation of this execution is to carry out the Central Jakarta District Court Decision Number 208/Pdt.G/2025/Jkt.Pst in conjunction with the Eviction Execution Order Number 01/Pdt.Eks/2026/PN.JKT.PST,β Sunoto told reporters in Jakarta on Thursday. He said the executed land consists of the former Right to Build (HGB) plot Number 26 and the former HGB plot Number 27 on Jalan Jendral Gatot Subroto, Central Jakarta. The ruling of the Central Jakarta District Court Number 208/Pdt.G/2025/Jkt.Pst, among other things, orders the counterclaim defendants to vacate and return to the plaintiffs the HGB plot Number 26 and the former HGB plot Number 27 along with the buildings and everything attached to them. Furthermore, it legally declares that the decision in the case can be executed first despite any legal remedies pursued by the counterclaim defendants (uitvoerbaar bij voorraad). Sunoto emphasised that the execution process was carried out in accordance with applicable law, particularly civil procedural law. The execution process this morning was led directly by the Central Jakarta District Court Clerk Parmika Ahyar, assisted by junior clerks and bailiffs.
