Central Jakarta Accelerates Finalisation of Developer-Obligated Social and Public Facility Assets
The Central Jakarta City Government is accelerating the administrative completion of assets in the form of social and public facilities (fasos-fasum) resulting from developer obligations to ensure legal certainty and optimal management.
Central Jakarta Administrative City Assistant for Economy and Development, Suprayogie, stated that this effort is being carried out through field inspections of assets that have been handed over by developers to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. “This inspection is conducted to ensure that the handover process of assets to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government can be completed thoroughly,” Suprayogie said in a written statement received in Jakarta on Tuesday.
He explained that the assets inspected are located on Jalan Kebembem and Jalan KH Mas Mansyur, Karet Tengsin Urban Village, Tanah Abang District. These two assets originate from the fulfilment of obligations by two developers, namely PT Sahid Jaya and PT Mild Plaza Prima. According to him, the total area of land handed over reaches 5,362 square metres and is currently being utilised as roads and pavements.
Suprayogie stated that both developers have completed their asset handover obligations, marked by the signing of a Handover Report (BAST). However, the administrative process is not yet fully complete as land certification is still ongoing at the National Land Agency (BPN). Therefore, the results of the field inspection will be coordinated with relevant agencies to accelerate the completion of the administrative process. “We will coordinate further with BPN and hold follow-up meetings so that the entire process can be finalised,” he said.
Meanwhile, Head of the Monitoring Sub-Division of the Central Jakarta City Asset Management Agency, Masyati, said that routine monitoring is carried out as part of securing regional assets originating from developer obligations. She added that every asset that has been handed over is also fitted with an identity board as an asset belonging to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. “From the results of the field inspection, the land assets handed over are immediately fitted with an identity board belonging to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government in accordance with applicable legal procedures,” Masyati said.
