Central Government Transfers to NTT Reach IDR 9.138 Trillion as of 31 May 2026

The nominal Transfer ke Daerah (TKD) from the central government to regencies and municipalities in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) has reached IDR 9.138 trillion, or 45.23% of the total ceiling. The realisation was recorded as of 31 May 2026.

“Transfers to the Regions remain a primary pillar of state budget support for regency and municipal governments in NTT,” said Adi Setiawan, Head of the NTT Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury, during a press conference at his office on Thursday (25/6/2026).

The IDR 9.138 trillion TKD realisation was dominated by the General Allocation Fund (DAU) at IDR 6.546 trillion, followed by Non-Physical Special Allocation Fund (DAK) at IDR 2.091 trillion, Village Funds at IDR 470.32 billion, Revenue Sharing Funds at IDR 16.01 billion, and Physical DAK at IDR 14.58 billion.

Village Fund distribution has shown positive development. Adi noted that eight regencies have realised 100% of the first phase of Village Funds. “The eight regencies that have realised 100% of the first phase of Village Funds are Belu, Sikka, East Flores, Ngada, Manggarai, West Sumba, Rote Ndao, and West Manggarai,” Adi explained.

Adi stated that the TKD realisation is part of the total state expenditure in NTT, which reached IDR 12.536 trillion, or 42.10% of the IDR 29.775 trillion ceiling, as of May 2026. This figure grew by 6.90% compared to the same period last year.

In addition to the IDR 9.138 trillion TKD, state expenditure also consists of Central Government Expenditure, which was realised at IDR 3.397 trillion, or 35.50% of the ceiling, growing 26.89% year-on-year. The largest component of this expenditure was personnel expenditure at IDR 2.033 trillion, while goods expenditure was realised at IDR 925.79 billion, capital expenditure at IDR 435.88 billion, and social assistance at IDR 2.38 billion.

For social protection, total social assistance distribution until May 2026 reached IDR 1.124 trillion. This amount comprised the Family Hope Programme (PKH) at IDR 556.66 billion for 684,170 recipients, Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) at IDR 422.14 billion for 703,572 recipients, and Cash Social Assistance (BST) at IDR 146.07 billion for 243,458 recipients.

Adi revealed that the state budget also strengthened business financing in NTT through People’s Business Credit (KUR) amounting to IDR 1.385 trillion for 26,725 debtors, an increase of 21.03%, and ultra-micro financing reaching IDR 147.97 billion for 26,219 debtors, an increase of 35.75%.
