Cemplang Village Hosts Banten Regional Police's First Service House

Serang (ANTARA) - The Banten Regional Police have introduced the Bhabinkamtibmas Office House in Cemplang Village, Jawilan District, Serang Regency, to bring police services closer to the community at the village level.

Banten Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Hengki, stated in Serang on Friday that the facility serves as a space for interaction between the public and the police to convey aspirations and seek solutions to local issues.

“This first innovative facility within the Banten Regional Police jurisdiction was initiated to ensure that police services are increasingly present amongst the citizens,” said Hengki.

He explained that the Bhabinkamtibmas Office House is designed as a space for residents and authorities to discuss, share information, and address matters regarding public security and order.

“This belongs to the people, to the community. It is a place for discussion and for conveying information regarding what is happening within the Cemplang Village environment. RT and RW officials are welcome to come here,” he added.

Through this facility, the public can access police services without having to visit the local Police Sector (Polsek) office. Each Bhabinkamtibmas officer will oversee one designated village, collaborating with Babinsa (village-level military officers), village heads, and local neighbourhood officials.

Banten Regional Police also received support from PT Mizeca Pembangunan in realising the Bhabinkamtibmas Office House facility.

Hengki expressed hope that the synergy between the police, village government, the community, and the private sector can continue to be strengthened to support security and order within the Banten region.

“For members of the public who require further information or wish to report potential disturbances to security and order, the Banten Regional Police’s 110 Call Centre rapid response service is ready to serve at any time,” he said.
