Celebrating Its 14th Anniversary, IKA Notariat UI Strengthens Fellowships and Contributions During Ramadan
The Alumni Association of Notariat Studies at the University of Indonesia (IKA Notariat UI) held its 14th anniversary celebration at the auditorium of the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia in Depok on Friday, 27 February, with the theme “14 Years of Service, Sharing Goodness in the Holy Month of Ramadan, Weaving Fellowships and Strengthening the Role of Notarial Alumni at UI”.
The celebration was attended by approximately 300 participants comprising alumni of the Master’s Programme in Notarial Studies (MKn) at UI, Faculty of Law lecturers, and representatives of the Central Board of the Association of Land Deed Officials (PP IPPAT). Also present were representatives of notarial alumni associations from other major universities, including KANOGAMA (UGM), IKANOT UNDIP, and Alumni Notariat Airlangga (ANA).
Since its reactivation on 25 February 2012, IKA Notariat UI has continued to transform itself into a vehicle for communication and contribution to the alma mater and society. Under the leadership of General Chair Dr Meggy Tribuana Tunggal Sari, S.H., M.Kn., the organisation has demonstrated rapid development through various professional and social activities.
The 14th anniversary celebration, coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan, was filled with a series of inspiring activities. The event was opened with remarks from university leaders, including Dr Edmon Makarim, S.Kom., S.H., LL.M. (Head of the Quality Assurance and Internal Supervision Agency of UI), who expressed full support for the active role of alumni in strengthening institutional relationships.
As a form of social concern, IKA Notariat UI distributed aid to the poor and disabled children from the Ayah Bunda Special community in Depok. Additionally, appreciation was given to the staff of the MKn UI programme for their dedication. From an educational perspective, the event featured a knowledge-sharing session by notary Aulia Taufani, S.H., regarding the implementation of the latest Ministry of Justice policies related to corporations in 2025.
In her remarks, Dr Meggy Tribuana Tunggal Sari stated that this activity was the 38th agenda since the third management period was inaugurated in October 2024. She emphasised the organisation’s commitment to continue spreading benefits. “We realise this by sharing material and spiritual blessings in the holy month of Ramadan for the university community and surrounding society. We present material sharing through Ramadan packages, whilst spiritual strengthening occurs through the enhancement of knowledge,” she said.
Beyond social action, IKA Notariat UI also made tangible contributions to education by providing laboratory and deed clinic facilities to support the quality of MKn UI graduates and maintain their excellence in notarial practice. The celebration concluded with a Ramadan sermon by Ustad Dr Drs H Chaerul Anwar, S.H., Sp.N., M.Kn., followed by joint prayers, the cutting of a celebratory rice cake, and breaking of the fast together.
Through this momentum, it is hoped that synergy among professional organisations will become more solid in realising national legal development that is integrated and just. IKA Notariat UI also formally launched its official website, which is expected to serve as an information and communication centre for all alumni.
