CCTV Footage Captures Moment Taufik Hidayat Takes YTR to Hospital, Medical Team's Suspicion Leads to Uncovering of Abuse Case

CCTV footage has emerged as a key piece of evidence in the alleged confinement and abuse case of YTR in Bandung Regency. The footage shows the moment suspect Taufik Hidayat brought the victim to Hasan Sadikin Hospital (RSHS). West Java Police Chief Inspector General Rudi Setiawan explained that the recording shows the suspect arriving at the hospital in the early hours accompanied by the victim and a witness, who is the boarding house keeper. Upon arrival, the medical team conducted an initial examination and immediately noticed several irregularities in the victim’s condition. The medical staff’s vigilance became the crucial starting point for uncovering the case, prompting them to report their suspicions to the authorities. Police investigations have since revealed that the victim allegedly endured repeated physical abuse over several years. According to the police, the abuse included beatings with bare hands, blunt objects, and sharp weapons. The victim was also allegedly burned with cigarettes and confined in a room in a helpless state.
