CCTV Captures Man Exiting Car Containing Deceased Civil Servant at Juanda Airport

The case of the death of RJS (50), the Secretary of the Public Housing and Settlement Area Agency (Sekdin PRKP) of Bangkalan Regency, has found a new lead. CCTV footage from the Juanda Airport area in Sidoarjo shows a man exiting the car at the location where the victim’s body was abandoned. The victim’s family legal representative, Risang Bima Wijaya, is convinced there was another person inside the black Toyota Kijang Innova official vehicle besides the victim. It appears the vehicle was not driven by the victim when it entered the airport area to collect a parking ticket. “Although the official autopsy results have not been released, we believe there was another person in the car besides the victim. From the CCTV footage when the vehicle entered the parking area and took a ticket, a male figure was visible inside the car,” Risang stated. After parking the official car containing the victim’s body, the mysterious man immediately left the location in a hurry. The individual disguised himself quite neatly to conceal his identity. “After the car was parked, a man was seen getting out of the vehicle. The person was wearing a mask and glasses, then left the parking area using an online taxi,” he explained. The legal team suspects the victim did not die in the airport area, but rather at another location. Juanda Airport is strongly suspected of being used merely as a place to obscure the trail of the victim’s death. “Our preliminary suspicion is that the victim died elsewhere. Afterwards, the body was taken to the airport area and left inside the car with the seat reclined,” he clarified. Risang emphasised that the act of placing and locking a body inside an official car without reporting it to the authorities constitutes a concrete criminal offence, regardless of the cause of death. “At the very least, there is the element of failing to report and concealing a death. That already falls within the legal domain. However, the motive is still unknown, whether it is related to other criminal acts or not,” he detailed.
