Caught Out! Using Official Vehicle During Eid, Acting Blora Council Secretary Immediately Removed

Blora, VIVA - Agus Listiyono, who previously served as the Acting (Plt) Secretary of the Council (Sekwan) of the Blora Regency DPRD in Central Java, has been removed by Blora Regent Arief Rohman. This action was taken because Agus used an official vehicle for personal purposes outside the district during Eid. “The replacement is a demonstration of the local government’s firmness to ensure that state facilities are not misused,” Arief stated on Wednesday, 1 April 2026. He revealed that as of today, the acting Sekwan has been replaced because the decree has been signed, with the replacement being Assistant III, so effective from 1 April 2026, Agus Listiyono no longer holds the position of Acting Sekwan of the Blora DPRD, having been succeeded by the Assistant III of the Blora Regency Regional Secretariat. Arief explained that the decision was made after Agus Listiyono admitted his error and issued a public apology regarding the use of the red-plated official vehicle for personal purposes. In addition to replacing the acting Sekwan position, the Blora Regency Government has also issued a letter of reprimand to the individual concerned. “As a form of firmness so that in the future no one exploits state facilities for personal interests, we have also issued a letter of reprimand,” he said. He stated that this step also serves as a reminder to all civil servants (ASN) within the Blora Regency Government to be more cautious in using state facilities. “The individual concerned has admitted and apologised. But as a form of commitment to enforcing discipline, we are replacing his acting position,” he added. Previously reported, a shocking admission came from the Acting Secretary of the Blora Regency DPRD in Central Java, Agus Listiyono. He did not deny using the red-plated official vehicle with registration number K 28 E for travel outside the district during Eid. “I apologise for that. I was the one who drove the vehicle,” he said, quoted on Tuesday, 24 March 2026. He explained that the use of the official vehicle occurred on Saturday, 21 March. In the morning, around 10:00 WIB, he paid a visit to the residence of Blora Regent Arief Rohman. Then, around 11:00 WIB, Agus continued his journey to his parents’ home in Kunduran Subdistrict, Blora. Later that afternoon, around 15:30 WIB, he departed from Kunduran to Sragen to visit his in-laws.
