Catering to 18 Million Clients, This Global Broker Is Set to Win the Competition
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The brokerage sector has recently witnessed the emergence of a new global brand, Elev8, launched in February by a team with extensive industry experience. The brand emerged with a strategic decision to pursue business growth through an independent new identity.
Prior to the launch, the brand was formed by a group of companies operating under Octa. This framework allowed them to remain separate entities while collectively using the brand name with several other companies.
However, the Elev8 team chose to be fully independent and recently terminated the brand-sharing agreement, introducing a unique new identity that clearly reflects their vision and ambitions.
“Elev8 is built on a solid foundation. Despite the new identity, the broker maintains continuity in all key aspects,” the company’s management wrote, quoted on Friday (6 March 2026).
“Specifically, the broker operates in the same jurisdiction and under the same licence, uses the same infrastructure, and follows the same business practices that had proven successful for them previously,” Elev8 explained.
The global reach of the new brand is one of the pillars the team uses to underpin its strategy. According to its website, the broker now serves around 18 million clients in more than 100 countries worldwide.
As expected, the brand comes with a new identity, including visuals, a domain, and the way the brand presents itself through its messaging.
However, for clients, the trading experience remains exactly the same. The technology functions as before across all platforms without disruption. Client status and trading history also do not change.
For clients, the launch of the new brand includes a new domain and visual identity. However, the broker serving Elev8’s clients has been in the market for years, and the new brand will use this experience to maintain operational efficiency.
Therefore, transaction processing and the entire process of withdrawals and deposits will remain as before, as will the overall client experience. According to the Elev8 team, efficient and fast transactions will remain one of the broker’s hallmarks.
All client accounts and user data have been safeguarded and are now fully accessible to clients under the new brand. Trading history and transactions have also been stored. There is no need to re-register—the transition has been implemented safely and automatically.
“The updated application reflects the transition to the new brand identity. The name change and visual updates to the app are part of this planned transition,” Elev8 wrote.
However, the technology behind the services and account access remains unchanged. Clients do not need to create a new account to continue trading and will still have access to the same services under the same terms.
During the transition period, clients can obtain all necessary information, including app updates, from Customer Service. The old app will gradually be replaced by the new one, and although the app name may differ for some users, its functionality remains the same as before.
Most users will be automatically migrated to the new app, while account data, balances, and service availability remain unchanged.
