A chain-reaction crash occurred on the Cipularang Toll Road at KM 93, Jakarta-bound, on Thursday 5 March at 20:18 WIB. The pile-up involved 10 vehicles and temporarily rendered the lane impassable. In a written statement, toll operator PT Jasamarga said that after the accident and scene processing by police, the wrecks were evacuated and by 20:59 WIB one lane could be traversed; by 21:43 WIB two lanes were passable again. Jasamarga apologised for the disruption during the evacuation process.
