Cassava and Sweet Potatoes Processed into Creative Products in Pangkalpinang
The Pangkalpinang City Food and Agriculture Service is inviting the public to utilise local foods by turning them into creative products with commercial value. In a training session held on Tuesday (12/5), participants were taught how to process cassava, sweet potatoes, and bananas into a variety of processed foods. The government hopes that local foods will no longer be viewed merely as ordinary staples. In addition to their nutritional value, these processed products also have the potential to enhance the local economy.
