Casio Launches Lightweight Mechanical Watch with an Easy-to-Read Display

Tokyo (ANTARA/PRNewswire) — Casio Computer Co., Ltd. has launched the CMK-100, a lightweight mechanical watch with an easy-to-read display. Designed with comfort and practicality in mind, the watch is suitable for a range of occasions, from everyday use to business activities.

Casio designed the CMK-100 as an automatic mechanical watch for comfortable daily wear. As well as being lightweight, it prioritises clear time display. The launch is part of Casio’s efforts to respond to strong market interest in mechanical watches.

Casio has used lightweight titanium for the CMK-100’s case to ensure it remains comfortable to wear for long periods. The case and bezel feature a hairline finish, creating a subtle, elegant metallic appearance. The matte-textured dial is designed to reduce glare and improve readability. The raised hour markers are coated with several layers of luminous paint. Together, these features provide strong contrast against the dial, making the markers easy to read in both low-light and bright conditions.

With water resistance of up to 10 bar, the CMK-100 is suited to everyday wear and outdoor activities. It is also equipped with a Japanese-made automatic movement.
