CASH COWS: Minister of Social Affairs Bachtiar Chamsyah (fourth
from right) symbolically hands one cow each to the regents of
Padang Pariaman, Agam and Pessel in West Sumatra. The three were
part of about 1,832 cattle donated on Saturday by the central
government to local farmers as part of the effort to reduce
poverty in the three regencies.
